Our Story
The three of us have been old friends for many years. It became a tradition for us to meet up every Year
around Christmas time for dinner. Every year we would talk about putting our skills together to create
our own company. And one year, we came upon a few ideas that made us realize we had to give it a go. It
was no longer just a casual chat amongst friends around the dinner table. We got serious. So here we are
today. James Wang brings the business function and operations side to the table. Roman brings the system
developing and coding with his many years of programming experience. And Xi brings his research and
analytical skills to bound all of us together and drive forth our idea.

Xi Zeng, PhD
CO-FOUNDER, CIO
I have lived in three continents: Asia, North America, and Europe. I am working in the semiconductor industry as
a scientist and engineer. My professional experience includes (1) designing and manufacturing night vision detectors,
solar cells, and lasers, (2) installing and maintaining capital equipment used for manufacturing semiconductor
devices, and (3) building and setting up manufacturing production floors.
I have a PhD in Photonics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, and MS and BS in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I've had many hobbies in my life. After graduating with a MBA I decided to become a bus driver. A motor coach operator to be
specific. Why? Because I’ve always wanted to drive one of those large land yachts and I didn’t know what to do with myself
yet. I fell in love with the Job and after a while, I found my self rising up the ranks in the bus company. First I was the
IT Director, Then the Director of Operations. Before I knew it, I was given Co Ownership. During this time I explored my
other obsessions. I got my commercial pilots licence and started my side hobby as a commercial pilot. Just cant stay away
from operating giant pieces of machinery. Of my many different job titles I held, my favorite one is Dad / Husband. I am
married to a wonderful partner who is my best friend and soul mate. Her and I have 2 beautiful little girls and 2 cats.
During my time growing my all of my interests and hobbies, I learned a important thing. No business or organization or
family works without communication. I have learned to perfect mine over time and I still have a lot to learn. Communication
is not a skill that is easy to master. It may seem easy and people take it for granted. It is a lot harder and complex than
most give it credit for and it is the key to success.
